The Scott County Historical Society (SCHS) has received two grants supporting the installation of a new exhibit: Play Ball! Sports in Scott County. It has received a $250 grant from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community and a $1,000 grant from the Shakopee Rotary Club.

The SCHS plans to use the funds to support the creation of a “dugout” exhibit component, in which visitors can enter and learn stats and see images of local teams and players.  This exhibit explores the rich and robust history of town ball and high school sports in Scott County.
