Officials from New Market Bank, the City of Elko New Market, Greystone Construction, and the Elko New Market Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new location of the city’s oldest established business. New Market Bank, founded in 1905, is the anchor tenant in the Elko New Market Commerce Center, a multi-tenant, 9,600-square-foot building located west of downtown New Market. The new bank branch and drive-thru take the place of the branch in downtown New Market that’s been in use since 1913. After the ribbon-cutting, Chamber members, city officials and special guests enjoyed a networking reception.
“Our new branch will help us better serve the generations of customers from our hometown of Elko New Market for years to come,” said Anita Vogel-Drentlaw, CPA, president of New Market Bank. “Greystone Construction has built a great facility that allows us to have a drive-thru with ATM, off-street parking and all the amenities of 21st century banking.”
During the week, New Market Bank also hosted a public grand opening celebration featuring giveaways, a drive-thru gift card promotion and a prize drawing.
