Marketing 101
Monday, February 23, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

As a small business owner, you likely have limited time and budget to devote to marketing your business. Trial-and-error marketing consumes both. Come learn how to make the most effective use of your marketing dollars.

With interactive exercises, you will gain an overview of branding, targeting an audience, developing marketing messages, and evaluating various marketing tools available, including social media, email marketing, websites, and more traditional means such as direct mail and advertising.

Instructor: Amy Lewis of Renown Marketing Communications

Intro to QuickBooks
Monday, March 9, 6:30 p.m.

Learn how to set up your company in QuickBooks software, and use the software for invoicing, accounts receivable, report generation, emailing portable company files, etc. Please bring your laptop with QB (2012 or later) installed so you can input your company information into the software during the class. If you do not have a laptop computer, you can still attend and familiarize yourself with the software and get your questions answered. Note: This class is geared toward business owners who are not using accounting software.

Instructor: Dawn Davis of Beyond Bookkeeping
